Red Ring Of Death(2nd mp article 5)

Do you know what the 'red ring of death" is? Don't be alarmed, It sounds kinda scary, but it's not. It has to do with the game console: Xbox360. When you turn the console on, 4 green lights light up. When one of them doesn't turn on and 3 of them turn red, this is known as the red ring of death. This happens when the console is experiencing a problem(usually from overheating). 50.4% of Xbox360's sold did this. The reason if because the way the console is manufactured is a little screwy. I really don't like this. People pay a lot of money for a game console that will just break. That's not right. I am expecting an Xbox360 for Christmas , so I really hope this doesn't happen to me. Most of the people I know that own an Xbox360 do not have any problem with there console, so I don't feel to worried. As I was saying, this is really unfair. I am surprised the makers of the console haven't done anything about it. People have been complaining for a while, but they obviously aren't putting to much thought into it. So as a conclusion, If your thinking about getting an Xbox360, get it, but be sure to get a warranty or a guarantee on it.

Kick A Ginger Day(2nd mp article 4)

It has come to my attention that facebook has made a kick a ginger day.(Ginger-A person who has red hair,pale skin, and freckles) Well, this club has been on facebook for a while but i just found out about it. It might be based on a "Southpark "episode. The actual "Kick A Ginger Day" day was Nov/30/09. There were three kids in California that got beat up. No charges were pressed but some people are mad at this. I'm a ginger, and i didn't really care about the club. It didn't bother me at all. The only thing that I don't like is that 3 kids got beat up just because they are a ginger kid. I got kicked twice on the day but it was a playful kick. people have made different versions of the club like hug a Asian day, or hug a Mexican day. Which I think is kinda funny. So my basic opinion on "Kick a Ginger Day" is that i don't care. I mean, I care but I don't think it is that big of a deal.

Why have an ipod when you can have Dancepants.(2nd Mp article 3)

I don't know exactly dance pants work but this is how it looks. There are small iPod speakers that you can put in your ear. This is when the pants part comes in: The speakers are motion activated so they only play music when you are running. The way they do this is there is a mp3 player in the hip that is controlled by the feet. Near the feet there is kinetic energy (and no, I do not know what that is). Somehow that kinetic energy makes the mp3 player play and you hear music.(But only if you are running). I think this is a torture device. Why would people want there music to stop when they stop running. It takes the point away from listening to your iPod while running. I do understand that maybe it encourages you to keep exercising, but c'mon, who would really buy this. Not me.

Crash Bandicoot Controversy(2nd Mp article 2)

I am sure some of you are familiar with the "Crash Bandicoot" series. The first game was distibuted in 1996 by "Naughtydog". The game was a hit and the company made many more games like Crash Bandicoot 2:Cortex strikes back, Crash Bandicoot 3:Warped, And then finishing with there last game: Crash Team racing. So then another company, Sierra, took over. Most people were happy that the series would go on. The first game Sierra made of the series was "Crash Bash". That was a hit but then they made the next game. That's when I started to hate them. Well first off, they changed the design of the characters. That made me mad because it was like it was a completely different game. Also they changed the gameplay. Most of the "Crash Bandicoot" games were played like this: There are 5 warp rooms and in each warp room there are 5 levels and a boss. "Sierra" completely changed it. I am really frustrated that "Naughtydog"

stopped doing the series. I am not the only person who thinks this. I know so many people who are mad about the situation and also, the Crash Bandicoot franchise has gone down and not that many peole like the videogames. So please "Naughtdog" Show "Sierra" how to really make a Crash Bandicoot Game.

Fast food((2nd mp article 1)

My topic of the week is fast food. Don't get me wrong, I think it tastes great , But it's so unhealthy.Here are some facts about fast food: Each day, 1 in 4 Americans visits a fast food restaurant, You would have to walk for seven hours straight to burn off a Super Sized Coke, fry and Big Mac, 60 percent of all Americans are either overweight or obese( If you really want to know some fast food facts watch the movie "Super Size Me"). I think this is horrible. Fast food should be for when you have no time to cook or you need a quick meal, but it has turned into a everyday meal. I know people who annualy, for dinner, go to fast food resturants. Fast food can cause Obesity, which has been linked many diseases like: Stroke, Asthma, Prostate and Colon Cancers, Adult onset diabetes, Gall bladder disease, And many more bad sicknesses. I kinda find this suprsing. I mean, I knew fast food was bad but not this bad. So, I hope after reading this article you think differently about fast food and think twice about getting Big Mac.

No Work And Lots Of Money

A New Jersey company paid A man half a million dollars. But there is just one thing that's a little different....he didn't work for the company.Anthony Armatys got hired by a telecommunications giant Avaya for more than 100,000 a year. This happened in 2002. But then he decided to not take the job, but the payroll department was uninformed. So for five years he got paid for doing absolutely nothing. But later he pleaded guilty for second-degree theft and had to pay $470,995 back to Avaya. Also a 6 year jail sentence. I have a lot to say about this. For one thing, how can you be so stupid to pay someone for a job there not doing. I wonder how they managed to do that. Also I find this pretty funny. The idea of a person getting money for doing nothing makes me laugh. Also I am suprised the guy accepted the paychecks. If the payroll department was Accidently giving me money, I would tell them so they could stop and things could be fair. Well let's hope the next time this guys get's money, he is actually working.

It's time to start growing a Mustaches

At the American Mustache Institute (Yeah, they actualy have a American Mustache Institute) they did a study that was perfromed by Quicken. They found out that men with mustaches make more money then men without mustaches. According to their studies, men with mustaches make 8.2 percent more then men with beards, and make 4.3 percent more then clean-shaven men. Also men with mustaches are more likely to get hired.s But sadly, the results also show that men with mustaches spend 11 percent more and save 3 percent less then men with no mustaches. I think this this is really funny. For one thing, How is there a American Mustache Institute. That's just plain weird. But, I do think this topic is very interesting. I think it's cool to know if people with mustcaches make more money then other people. Also, I wonder why men with mustaches make more money. Do mustaches make people look Sophisticated? Well, I would suggest that everybody reading this article should grow a muctache, except if your a women.

Be Careful When You Go On A Bus

Over The Weekend , In Laredo,Texas , The Texas Highway Patrol busted a fake school bus carrying 5,408 pounds of marijuana.(Which is a street value of 1.7 million dollars) The Police stopped a school bus that looked like the United Independent School District bus. I am sure they thought they were going to find children on that bus. Boy, They were in for a surprise. I have a couple different opinions on this. When I saw the article I started laughing because I thought the title of the article  was funny. While I was reading the article, I was thinking the guy behing this is pretty clever. I think it is a smart idea to try to smuggle pot by riding A school bus. No-one would suspect that. But also I think this is very wrong. I personality think it is a bad idea to smoke pot, and when you are driving with 5,408 pounds of it, it is horrible. Here is another thing to think about. In the picture (Above) there is so much marijuana. How would all that fit on a bus? Isn't that to much weight for a bus? I consider that kind of weird. Im am very happy that the guy got arrested for this mockery. Maybe next time he should A box truck. 

Is Youtube Making Your Desicions For You?

I am sure all of you know the website Youtube.com. People post videos for other people to watch for entertainment . One thing I have been thinking about is when they delete videos. I feel that it is wrong because when you upload a video, it is your property so Youtube has no right to delete it. I know some people say it is a good thing because it is keeping little kids from watching inopropiate content, but they should just not click on the video. It is deciding what you can and can't watch. Also it is going against the first ammendment.(The Right To Free Speach) Sometimes they delete a video because they are being racist or predudice. That is definitly going against the first ammendment. Now don't get me wrong, I still really like youtube,and all the other websites they have like google, but I feel that some of the desisions that the corporation is making are not the smartest.

At the website you can rate your teachers on clarity,Easiness and helpfulness.(On a scale of 1-5) Also you can write comments about them. To start, this is what you do. When you enter the website type in the school you want to rate teachers from, and yes, Cab Calloway is one of the choices. Then you will select the teacher you want to rate. Next to the teachers name is says the overall rating. Click on the teacher and then next to the name is says "rate teacher".Click it and you can start.It is a really cool website. It's fun to see what your teachers ratings are and what people think about the teacher. So the next time your bored, just go on the computer and rate your teachers.

A new vaccine, In Thailand, has been created to help get rid of the disease AIDS from mixing two different vaccines that were ineffective in the past to cure AIDS or HIV. U.S Army Col. Jerome Kim said “It's the first evidence that we could have a safe and effective preventive vaccine," Every day 7,500 in the world are infected with HIV, And two million died from AIDS in 2007, so it is very good that we have a vaccine that might be able to cure it. Now, if you don't know what Aids or HIV is , here is a exsplanation. AIDS is a disease that slowly attacks at the immune system and kills healthy immune system cells. HIV is athe proccess before AIDS. AIDS is the final stage of HIV. We have been trying to cure AIDS and HIV for 20 years now and I think we might be on to something. Scientists are still saying there is more work to do and that it might not be able to cure the disease outside of Thailand but we are on a good track for curing AIDS.

Drama At The VMA'S

It has come to my attention that during the MTV Music Awards, A music artist, Kanye West, did something A little disrespectful. What happened was, during the Music Artist, Taylor swift, was excepting her award for best female music video, Kanye took the award from Taylor and said that Beyonce, another nominee for the award, deserved to win it more. I do understand that is was very disrespectful, but he did do something about it. For one thing, he apologize on his blog saying he was really sorry. Not only that but he went on the 'Jay Leno Show' to say a public apology. His exact words were "It's actually someone's emotions that I stepped on. It was rude, period. I'd like to apologize to her in person." After 3 public apologies(one on the his blog, one the 'Jay Leno Show' and one on “The View”) . He Apologized in person to Taylor Swift, and if you really think about it, what he did in the first place wasn’t that bad. I know I am sounding crazy but he wasn’t speaking to Taylor Swift personally. I think the only reason why he said that Beyonce deserved the award is because he was just making Beyonce feel better. I am sure Beyonce was disappointed to find out that she didn’t win, so to keep Her from feeling sad Kanye said she should of won. Even though Beyonce ended up winning best music video for the whole year later in the show. Well, I hope you have listened to my points and you don't dislike Kanye for what he did during the VMA’S.

Sushi

It's japanese,it's delicious,it's........sushi!!!. Personally, I really like sushi. My favorite are sushi roles. There are a bunch of kinds and it is very good. Just put it in your mouth and you have a extravaganza of flavor and texture. What's A sushi role you ask?. Well here is some history on it. Sushi has been traced from Southeast Asia. In Japan, sushi is an art form because of how colorful and beautiful it looks. Now this is how it's made. It is a role of seaweed that goes into a circle. In the middle there can be, fish, shrimp, tune, avocado , pretty much anything in that category. Also outside the seaweed is sticky rice. With a few roles there is a spicy mayonnaise sauce on the top. This food will make chinese takeout seem like crap. Well, I hope after reading this you will wanna try sushi. If you have no idea what to get, my favorite roles are:the spicy tuna role, the butterfly role, and the alaskan role. So go get those chopsticks and eat!!
