Game Review:Bayonetta(mp2 article 8)

Bayonetta is a 1 player, 3rd person 3D action game.Here is the plot:Back in ancient Europe there were two clans, the Umbra Witches,who controlled the dark, and the Lumen Sages, who controlled the light. These two clans shared the treasures called the right and left eye(they were also known as the eyes of the world) When these two treasures disappeared, the clans clashed and had a war wiping out the sages and witches. Somehow one witch survived, Bayonetta. She wakes up 500 years later and doesn't remember anything except that she is a witch. In the game, you play as Bayonetta, you have a full arsenal of attacks. If you are a fan of guns, you will love this game. She is equipped with tons of guns, even in her shoes! There are also a bunch of weapons like swords,whips ,chains ,etc. Something I really like about the fighting is something called witchtime. If you dodge an attack at the last second, everything else goes in slow motion, except for Bayonetta. This is good because you can cause more damage to your opponent because they are moving in slow motion. In this game, your enemies are evil angels, and you better learn to like them, because you will be killing a lot of them. Sometimes it seems like you are fighting a boss every 5 minutes.Also, the graphics are very good(but not so much on the ps3, the graphics are much smoother on the 360). There are 16 chapters in this game and they are all very fun. This is a very enjoyable game and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Apple's New Product(MP2 7th article)

Lately, news has been busing about the new product by apple. It's either called the Tablet, the islate, or the iguide. It kinda looks like a mac computer screen but without the keyboard(Or just a really big ipod touch). I don't know what the official price is, but i heard it is anywhere from 600-1000$. Some people are saying that it is a horrible idea, but some people are saying that it is going to be the next step in technology. Just listen to this. "The tablet computer is the latest, and perhaps most important step in a line of technology taking us (to the future)," Siegler writes. I actually really like the idea of it. I think it looks cool and it will definitely be very useful. I know nobody needs it, but does anybody need an ipod, an iPhone, or a mac.If it cost a little less, I would definitely try to get it. I have a feeling that it will be the next best thing and a lot of people will like it.

Snowstorm(2nd mp article 6)

Remember that snowstorm we just had? If your a kid, you probably do; but if your an adult, your probably are trying to forget. Personally, I really liked the snow storm, but then again, I got 2 days off of school and got and excuse to stay inside all day. I was surprised that we got all that snow. I know people predicted that we would have a big snowstorm, but snow predictions have been wrong many times. Wilmington,Delaware got 17 inches and Philadelphia got 23 inches which is the most Philadelphia has ever got. The snow at some points went up to my thighs. Something I also really liked about all the snowfall we got is how long it lasted. The snow almost lasted a full week without melting. Even on Christmas plenty snow was on the ground. It was nice having a white Christmas. So overall I really enjoyed the snowfall we got, and hey, if they want to give me another day off of school, I wouldn't mind.

Red Ring Of Death(2nd mp article 5)

Do you know what the 'red ring of death" is? Don't be alarmed, It sounds kinda scary, but it's not. It has to do with the game console: Xbox360. When you turn the console on, 4 green lights light up. When one of them doesn't turn on and 3 of them turn red, this is known as the red ring of death. This happens when the console is experiencing a problem(usually from overheating). 50.4% of Xbox360's sold did this. The reason if because the way the console is manufactured is a little screwy. I really don't like this. People pay a lot of money for a game console that will just break. That's not right. I am expecting an Xbox360 for Christmas , so I really hope this doesn't happen to me. Most of the people I know that own an Xbox360 do not have any problem with there console, so I don't feel to worried. As I was saying, this is really unfair. I am surprised the makers of the console haven't done anything about it. People have been complaining for a while, but they obviously aren't putting to much thought into it. So as a conclusion, If your thinking about getting an Xbox360, get it, but be sure to get a warranty or a guarantee on it.

Kick A Ginger Day(2nd mp article 4)

It has come to my attention that facebook has made a kick a ginger day.(Ginger-A person who has red hair,pale skin, and freckles) Well, this club has been on facebook for a while but i just found out about it. It might be based on a "Southpark "episode. The actual "Kick A Ginger Day" day was Nov/30/09. There were three kids in California that got beat up. No charges were pressed but some people are mad at this. I'm a ginger, and i didn't really care about the club. It didn't bother me at all. The only thing that I don't like is that 3 kids got beat up just because they are a ginger kid. I got kicked twice on the day but it was a playful kick. people have made different versions of the club like hug a Asian day, or hug a Mexican day. Which I think is kinda funny. So my basic opinion on "Kick a Ginger Day" is that i don't care. I mean, I care but I don't think it is that big of a deal.

Why have an ipod when you can have Dancepants.(2nd Mp article 3)

I don't know exactly dance pants work but this is how it looks. There are small iPod speakers that you can put in your ear. This is when the pants part comes in: The speakers are motion activated so they only play music when you are running. The way they do this is there is a mp3 player in the hip that is controlled by the feet. Near the feet there is kinetic energy (and no, I do not know what that is). Somehow that kinetic energy makes the mp3 player play and you hear music.(But only if you are running). I think this is a torture device. Why would people want there music to stop when they stop running. It takes the point away from listening to your iPod while running. I do understand that maybe it encourages you to keep exercising, but c'mon, who would really buy this. Not me.

Crash Bandicoot Controversy(2nd Mp article 2)

I am sure some of you are familiar with the "Crash Bandicoot" series. The first game was distibuted in 1996 by "Naughtydog". The game was a hit and the company made many more games like Crash Bandicoot 2:Cortex strikes back, Crash Bandicoot 3:Warped, And then finishing with there last game: Crash Team racing. So then another company, Sierra, took over. Most people were happy that the series would go on. The first game Sierra made of the series was "Crash Bash". That was a hit but then they made the next game. That's when I started to hate them. Well first off, they changed the design of the characters. That made me mad because it was like it was a completely different game. Also they changed the gameplay. Most of the "Crash Bandicoot" games were played like this: There are 5 warp rooms and in each warp room there are 5 levels and a boss. "Sierra" completely changed it. I am really frustrated that "Naughtydog"

stopped doing the series. I am not the only person who thinks this. I know so many people who are mad about the situation and also, the Crash Bandicoot franchise has gone down and not that many peole like the videogames. So please "Naughtdog" Show "Sierra" how to really make a Crash Bandicoot Game.
